We are all drawn to the forbidden. We shouldn’t be, we know it’s wrong, but we can’t help it! These novels grab our attention and just won’t let go. They have controversial subjects and a lot of shock-value. It’s the “holy crap” moments that keep us glued to the pages. This category will encompass different scenarios, such as student-teacher relationships, relationships that should be off-limits, kidnapping/Stockholm syndrome and anything else that might be considered a little dysfunctional.

The couples who read together, stay together. That may not be scientifically proven, but it’s worked for us. We have been blogging for over twelve years. While we do enjoy reading together, we rarely read the same novels (although, it does happen occasionally). Sometimes a good book is just too good not to recommend to your spouse/blogging partner.
