I have always loved history, so much so that I majored in Classical Studies at university. Most of my book choices will deal with wars and battles from the Greco-Roman period. From time to time I will toss in something from a later period, anywhere from the dark ages to WWII (and yes, I do realize that is a very broad period). But my main focus will be from the Homeric Epics to the fall of Rome (which really is just as broad).

The couples who read together, stay together. That may not be scientifically proven, but it’s worked for us. We have been blogging for over twelve years. While we do enjoy reading together, we rarely read the same novels (although, it does happen occasionally). Sometimes a good book is just too good not to recommend to your spouse/blogging partner.
